Applications are open from January 20 through April 1, 2025
To be eligible, the applicant or applicant’s parent/guardian must be currently employed at a vineyard or winery within the Temecula Valley AVA that is a member of the Temecula Valley Winegrowers Association. The TVWA will be awarding three (3) scholarships of $5,000 for a four-year college and three (3) scholarships of $2,500 for a two-year college or trade school. Scholarships will vary for those enrolled in a program related to viticulture, enology or hospitality.
Eligibility
Educational Status: Must be graduating from high school in 2025 with plans to attend a two-year or four-year college, or trade school, or currently enrolled in a program related to viticulture, enology or hospitality,
Employment Requirement: The applicant or their parent/guardian must be currently employed at a vineyard or winery within the Temecula Valley AVA that is a member of the Temecula Valley Winegrowers Association.
Financial Need: The applicant must demonstrate financial need.
Academic Performance: The applicant must exhibit a strong academic record, consistently maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.5.
Extracurricular Involvement: The applicant must demonstrate involvement in extracurricular activities.
Future Plans: Provide details on the field of study, intended major, and the college/university or other institution you plan to attend. If you have not yet received an admission decision, please list your first-choice institution.

Current Letter of Recommendation: Provide a letter of recommendation from an instructor, school principal, counselor or coach. The letter must be signed and should include the address, telephone number and position held for the individual.
Career Goals: An opportunity to briefly describe, including future plans for additional education where applicable (1,000 character limit)
Personal Essay: Submit a 500+ word essay that tells the committee about you, your financial need, your career goals and how you plan to help your community.
Optional Materials:
Work Experience: an opportunity to list work experience if you feel it adds to your application (1,000 character limit)
Attach a Copy of Your SAT or ACT Test Results
Deadline:
Applications must be POSTMARKED or RECEIVED no later than April 1, 2025
